On November 27, Tbilisi hosted the international forum BIT-2024, a significant event for the regional information technology market. Held in the conference hall of Wyndham Grand Tbilisi, the forum brought together IT, business, and security professionals after a five-year hiatus.
The forum covered a wide range of contemporary topics, including cybersecurity, networking solutions, and environmental aspects of data center operations. Participants had the opportunity to attend expert presentations on finding simple solutions for complex networks and using next-generation AI-based systems to manage access and protect against cyberattacks.
Key discussions included IT security challenges and ESET solutions, data security in modern storage devices, and cutting-edge network solutions for business applications.
In the second part of the forum, Victoria Abed presented on AI avatars and their effectiveness in ten scenarios where they can outperform human employees.
During the final segment, engineers reviewed essential requirements for mission-critical IT infrastructure, such as racks, cooling systems, and diesel engines for data center energy needs. David Gyulnazaryan concluded with insights into how open solutions in data centers contribute to addressing environmental and social challenges.
The forum concluded with a prize draw for attendees who had pre-registered, adding an interactive and engaging element to the event. BIT-2024 once again demonstrated its importance for the regional IT community, offering a platform for knowledge exchange, expertise sharing, and discussions on key industry trends.
